SC Coastal Animal Rescue and Educational Sanctuary is a no-kill, no-breed sanctuary for unwanted, abused, and neglected exotic animals. Located in Georgetown, SC, SC-CARES operates a wildlife rehabilitation center, develops educational outreach programs and provides a compassionate environment where animals are treated with love and respect, receive proper care and given a good quality of life.

BarkAid 2015 at Beautiful Salon in Pawleys Island
Saturday, August 15, 2015 • Time: 9am - 8 pm
Master Hairstylist Patrick Lomantini and his team will be at Beautiful Salon in Pawleys Island on day 16 of his 50 States/50 Cuts/50 Days tour to support animal rescues. A $20 donation will receive a cut by Patrick or his assistant. Salon stylists will also provide other services for donations. SC-CARES will have animals on-site. Fish Fry at On The 1/2 Shell
Saturday, August 29, 2015 • Time: 1 - 6 pm
On the 1/2 Shell, located at 4500 Hwy 17 Bypass in Murrells Inlet is sponsoring and hosting a Fish Fry to benefit SC-CARES on Saturday August 29 from 1 to 6pm. The menu includes Fish, Hush Puppies, French Fries, Cole Slaw, Perlou, Vegan Dishes, Drinks. There will be Music, Raffles, Bake Sale, Meet & Greet with select Animal Ambassadors from SC-CARES, Souvenir sales table.
